List of Missouri Counties

The following is a list of Missouri counties that allow for an uncontested divorce by affidavit. If your county is listed below, you can proceed with your divorce or modification by allowing your attorney to file your paperwork with the court and avoid a court hearing (if children are involved, however, a few counties DO require a court hearing).

If your county is not listed below a court hearing will most likely be required. If this turns out to be the case, an additional fee of $250 will apply. This fee is to cover the costs of retaining a local attorney to appear at the court hearing. This is due to the fact the G. Thomas Harris is often in court hearings during the week. He will, however, remain the attorney of record during the divorce proceedings.

This is by far and large the fastest and least expensive way to proceed with your divorce, separation, modification of custody, visitation, child support or paternity. Contact Harris Law Office today for a free consultation (just click the Contact Us link on the left).
